What a predicament.
We've gotten so used to covering it with cement.

But the movement has grown.
Seeds have been sewn.

Savvy citizenry
Join in the revelry.

Green and lean.
A powerful machine.

Global warming,

Sustainable farming.

Green wash,
Radioactive slosh.
They must be quashed.

Brought to the masses by Gore.
Remember the uproar.

Everybody aboard the bandwagon,
Magnets to the jargon,
Like hipsters to the cardigan.

Spokesmen with a celebrity glow.
Even DiCaprio.

Are we blinded by the light?

Afraid they are right -

that the end is in sight.

Melting ice caps.

Perhaps.

Or is this part of the plan?

A flash in the pan.

Or is it all a hoax -

A strategy to coax?

Likely we'll never know.

Leaving our children our woe.
